Centennial Auto Group: 2025 Year in Review
December 30 2025,
As 2025 comes to a close, we’re taking a moment to reflect on the incredible events, community initiatives, and memories we shared throughout the year. From golf tournaments to customer appreciation nights and holiday giving, it’s been a season full of connection, fun, and giving back. Here’s a look back at the highlights from each month.
June
PSB Mackenzie Clow Golf Tournament
June kicked off our event season with the first Mackenzie Clow Golf Tournament with the Public School Branch at Eagles Glenn. The weather was unpredictable, but a little rain couldn’t stop the fun!
We were proud to be a main sponsor for the Mackenzie Clow Foundation, a cause close to our hearts. Working with Geoff, Martina, and Katherine is always a pleasure.
This year, we brought back our candy bar with chips and pop, and added a few new games, including giant Connect 4, cornhole, and a chipping golf game. Everyone loved it!
Jeep Meet – Our First Ever
Inspired by our desire to connect with the Jeep community, our Marketing and Events manager Kelly, organized our first Jeep Meet. We went “ducking” Jeeps around the community to invite participants, a fun Jeep tradition! The event featured Robin’s donuts, coffee, games, Jeep shirts, and more. The Jeeps showed up, and we made connections that would help us grow future meets.
Honda Grand Opening
June wrapped up with the grand opening of our new Honda store in Summerside. Though we officially moved in December 2024, we waited for the nicer weather to celebrate properly. The event included activations like a car show, face painting, live cotton candy spinning, ice cream, a BBQ, and our signature games. Our customers loved exploring our new space!
July
Mackenzie Clow Jr Golf Tournament
We returned to Mill River for the juniors tournament under beautiful sunny skies! This year, Hole 17 offered an exciting chance to win a Honda Foreman ATV with a hole-in-one. Before teeing off, we asked each junior golfer which club they were using—a fun way to see the variety in their game. One young golfer came incredibly close with his pitching wedge!
Our candy bar and games kept the kids entertained between shots, and it was a joy to watch them in action while noticing the different clubs in use.
Mackenzie Clow Golf Scramble (Adults)
That Saturday, we returned to Mill River for the adult scramble. The hole-in-one prize? A Nissan Rogue! While a strong and pesky wind made for impossible odds, chatting with players and hearing their stories on why they participate made it a fantastic day.
The candy selection was tailored to our audience, with treats like Hot Lips and Coca-Cola gummies. The Mackenzie Clow tournaments continue to be a favourite week of the year for us!
August
Drive-In Movie Night
Our summer customer appreciation night at Brackley Drive-In featured Bad Guys 2 and Jurassic World: Rebirth. Face painters Little Island Artist and Painted by Shalene wowed the kids, and glow sticks added an extra layer of fun. The new mini dog park was a hit with everyone’s furry friends.
Second Jeep Meet
Our second Jeep Meet drew an incredible turnout, including a convoy from Nova Scotia! Doughnuts and coffee were back, and a few Broncos joined the mix —because we love all off-road vehicles. The PEI and Nova Scotia Jeep crews connected, forming new friendships and touring the area together—a perfect example of community building through our events.
September
Under the Spire Festival
This year, we sponsored a night at the Under the Spire Festival, featuring Lawrence Maxwell. Our content creator, Sara, attended and enjoyed a pancake dinner thanks to the Provincial Credit Union crew before Maxwell took the stage. It was a night full of music, community, and fun—definitely one to mark on your calendar for next year!
Centennial Motor Show
The second annual Centennial Motor Show at Centennial Chrysler Dodge Jeep and Ram featured 90+ car registrations. Face painters kept attendees entertained, and spectator donations helped raise $1,559.60 for the Montague Lions Club. New categories like Best Jeep (added for the Jeep community) and Best Motorcycle. We can’t wait to grow this event even more next year!
Links for Lungs Golf Tournament
Every year, Links for Lungs is how we close out our golf tournament season! The gals over at Links for Lungs PEI are always incredible to work with.
We brought a Nissan Rogue for the hole-in-one contest, and Team Nissan Charlottetown participated once again.
It was a cold and windy day—at times we thought the tent might blow down, but thankfully it held strong. The windy weather meant fewer close calls for the hole-in-one, but everyone was able to warm up at our candy bar and grab a bag of chips for the rest of the day.
All in all, it was a great day, and we love ending our tournament season on such a high note!
November
Centennial Classic
Our biggest event of the year, the Centennial Classic, drew 2,901 fans for a thrilling game against the Valley Wildcats (score: 9-2). Leading up to the event, we filmed promo content with the Caps players, including a viral goalie video.
The night included 60+ prize giveaways, merch tosses, and intermission games. Cassy Powers won $1,000 in the race-to-shoot contest, and Corie Pierce took home $500 in the dash-for-cash. The kids had fun with chuck-a-puck and prize packs. Another successful Classic in the books!
Honda Food Drive
This November, the Honda team set out with a goal to fill a Honda CR-V with non-perishable food items in support of the Salvation Army Food Bank. Every donation helped make a difference in our community, and thank you to everyone who participated. It was a simple but meaningful way to give back together.
December
Adopt a Family
As soon as the Centennial Classic wraps up, we move on to one of the most important initiatives of the year: Adopt a Family.
This year marks the Centennial Auto Group team’s 7th year participating, and it has truly grown into a tradition our staff loves. With over 340 kids supported across the community, we were proud to adopt three families and help sprinkle a little extra holiday magic where it’s needed most.
Thank you goes to Sue Gallant, the Kin Family, and every volunteer who pours their time and heart into making this happen. Behind the scenes, this campaign runs year-round, fueled by careful planning, dedicated helpers, and incredible community support.
Our marketing team, Kelly and Sara, distribute the tags to each dealership. Customers and staff pick a tag and return the gifts unwrapped. Kelly and Sara then collect the gifts from each store and bring them to Sue’s place, where she organizes them before sending everything to the warehouse for wrapping.
Our staff looks forward to giving back to the community every year, and Adopt a Family is a reminder of the difference we can make together.
Year-End Banquet
Our year-end banquet at the Delta in Charlottetown brought together over 300 team members for a night of food, trivia, and service awards. It’s always a special time to celebrate our team’s dedication and enjoy time together.
Montague Food Bank Support
This holiday season, our Centennial Chrysler, Dodge, Jeep, and Ram team helped provide food hamper items for the 400+ families who are using the service this December. Locally sourced turkeys from Larkin Farms and donations of non-perishable items ensured families had festive holiday meals. Giving back remains at the heart of what we do!
Looking Back on 2025
From golf tournaments to Jeep meets, drive-ins, motor shows, and holiday giving, 2025 has been a year full of connection, community, and celebration. We’re so grateful for our team, our customers, and our community for making it all possible—and we can’t wait to see what 2026 brings!
