This Is The Production Version Of The 2022 Honda Civic

After nearly a half-century in production, the 11th-generation Honda Civic is about to land in Honda showrooms. And we finally have a clear look at the production version of the all-new 2022 Civic.

There are a lot more details to come on Wednesday, April 28th, when the Civic is fully unveiled from every angle. That' when we'll learn about equipment levels, specifications, and arrival times. (We know the new Civic hatchback won't arrive until a few months after the sedan's launch.)

At the prototype Civic's unveiling in November 2020, we already learned some key details.

  • • The wheelbase is slightly longer, and that extra length will contribute to even better cabin space. The Civic is already the class leader in this area.
  • • Expect a 9-inch centre screen.
  • • The structure will be stiffer and stronger, allowing for better suspension tuning that will enhance ride quality and handling.
  • • The beltline will be very low, so visibility should be very good.

The Civic has been Canada's best-selling car for 23 consecutive years. It's a streak that began in 1998. Honda's Chequered Flag Event is on now, featuring the kind of value-packed Civic deals that have always made it difficult for car buyers to look anywhere else.
