Mazda Was Canada's Fastest-Growing Volume Auto Brand in June 2018

In a shrinking new vehicle market, Mazda Canada reported an 8-percent year-over-year sales increase in June 2018, tops among volume brands last month.

Despite the slight slowdown in overall Canadian vehicle demand, Mazda Canada sales are up 6 percent this year, trending towards an eight-year high for the zoom-zoom brand.

Much of Mazda's recent growth stems from the popularity of its three-pronged CX lineup of utility vehicles. In June 2018, the 1,604 CX-3s sold represented the best month ever for the CX-3. CX-5 sales jumped 18 percent to 2,479 - the CX-5 is Mazda's best seller. CX-9 volume likewise increased, along with sales of the revamped-for-2018 Mazda 6.

50 Canadians will soon win the MSRP value of their Mazda through the aptly titled "Win Your Mazda" event in celebration of Mazda Canada's 50th anniversary.
