How Big Is The Nissan Kicks Cargo Area? Big Enough To Make It No.1 In Its Segment

From an affordable entry price to an unbelieveable amount of standard technology to an astounding sound system and killer style, the Nissan Kicks has a lot going for it.

That's why it quickly became a hugely popular vehicle across North America, across Canada, and right here in Prince Edward Island. In fact, no small crossover generates as much Island volume as the Kicks.

But there's something else. The Nissan Kicks is huge inside.

Just pop open the tailgate – yeah, you didn't expect to see that gigantic cavern, did you. At 716 litres (25.3 cubic feet), the Kicks' cargo area dwarfs many competitors despite its similarly sized exterior stature. Now fold down the 60/40 split-folding rear seats and the Kicks' cargo area more than doubles to 1,503 litres (53.1 cubic feet.)

Of course, it's all relative. The Kicks is not as big inside as a shipping container (not quite.) And it's not as big inside as a suite at the Holman Grand. Compared to its competitors, however, it's not hard to see why small crossover buyers are flocking to the Kicks. You get more space, with or without the seats folded, all while consuming less fuel.
