Here's a Little Taste of the 2019 Kia Forte

The third-generation Kia Forte won't be fully unveiled until the North American International Auto Show in Detroit, Michigan, on January 15, but Kia has generously revealed the sketches on which the production car will be revealed.

Inspired by the new Kia Stinger, the 2019 Kia Forte will clearly be unmistakeably a Forte, but distinctly more athletic in appearance. The 2019 Forte's tiger nose grille indelibly links the next Forte to the entire Kia lineup.

The rear of the 2019 Forte separates the taillights from the reverse lights and turn signals to add greater visual interest, while the Sportage-like strip connecting the two taillights emphasizes the Forte's classical sedan dimensions: longer, lower, wider.

Kia will announce many more details regarding the all-new 2019 Forte on Monday. In the meantime, the current Kia Forte stands out as the best-selling member of Kia's Canadian lineup thanks to a 33-percent year-over-year sales increase in 2017.
