Carstar Cystic Fibrosis Canada

Every June, CARSTAR takes the lead in social responsibility by supporting Cystic Fibrosis Canada. In the past 20 years, CARSTAR has raised over $3 million for CF research, care, and advocacy. For 10 years, CARSTAR held its annual Soaps It Up National Car Wash Fundraiser for Cystic Fibrosis Canada. All proceeds go to the local CFC chapters and other charitable organizations in the community. In 2014, CARSTAR launched its first Shine Month, with the entire month of June filled with fundraising events across North America. Shine Month is the evidence of CARSTAR’s passion for customers, communities, and cars.

Soaps It Up has been CARSTAR Canada's national car wash for over a decade, and has been a main contributor to the over $3.5 million already raised by the company to support Cystic Fibrosis Canada.

The first Soaps It Up fundraiser took place after the granddaughter of a franchise partner was diagnosed with cystic fibrosis. From there, the relationship with CARSTAR and Cystic Fibrosis Canada grew. In 2000, CARSTAR proudly named Cystic Fibrosis Canada its official charity of choice.

Today, Soaps It Up remains the primary fundraising event of the year for CARSTAR Canada. Funds raised at each CARSTAR location go directly to Cystic Fibrosis Canada along with local charities.
