April 2018 Was an Amazing Month for Mazda Canada

Momentum sure ain't easy to slow down, and the momentum Mazda Canada has been building over the last year is accelerating even while many automakers experience Canadian slowdowns.

Across Mazda Canada's dealer network - which includes Mazda's Prince Edward Island home at Centennial Mazda in Charlottetown - April 2018 sales rose 7 percent to 7,278 vehicles compared with April 2017, marking a 24-month high for the Mazda brand. This boiled down to gains seen across nearly the entire lineup.

Mazda's on fire.

Mazda 3 sales? Up.

Mazda MX-5 Miata sales? Up, to the highest April level (199 sales) in a decade. April was also the second best month overall since the fourth-generation Miata was introduced.

Mazda CX-3 sales? Up, to a ninth consecutive monthly record.

Mazda CX-5 sales? Up, once again achieving best-selling Mazda status.

Sales of the all-new Mazda 6? Way up, to the highest April level in half a decade.

CX-9 sales topped the 300-mark for the 10th time in the last year, and 2018 is on track to be a second consecutive record year for the Mazda flagship.

These are the kinds of results we expect to see as more and more consumers become aware of Mazda's premium interiors, engaging driving experiences, spectacular fuel economy, and stunning designs.
