For the third consecutive month in the start of 2018, the Honda Civic was Canada's best-selling car in March 2018.
Canadian sales of the Canadian-built Honda Civic rose in March 2018 to a seven-month high of 6,279 units, outperforming the No.2-ranked car by a huge 48-percent margin, virtually 3-to-2. The breadth of the Civic lineup - in which sedans and coupes and hatchbacks cross a wide equipment and price spectrum, in which performance-oriented Civics span two tiers - explains in part the reason for the Civic's unending popularity.
But the Civic also enjoys a long-established reputation for reliability and durability. Consumer Reports recently listed the Civic as one of the ten vehicles most likely to enjoy 300,000+ kilometres of trouble-free driving.
The Honda Civic has been Canada's best-selling passenger car 20 years running, and 2019 certainly appears to be on track to be the 21st consecutive year of Civic sales leadership. Every Canadian can either point to Civics that have been in their own driveways or a wide variety of Civics owned by friends and family - that's why it's called Civic Nation.
Over 640,000 Canadians have driven home in new Honda Civics over the last decade. Tens of thousands more will do so in 2018, and many will do so right here in East Prince, where the 2018 Honda Civic - the tenth generation of Honda's most popular car - is on sale now at Centennial Honda in Summerside, Prince Edward Island.
